Hiked in Will Rogers State Park, then ate brunch made with love and hipster pretense at Axe in Venice where the guy next to us at the communal table asked his friend, “Are you going to have kids soon? I mean, you are going to be 25,” and Gilda and I decided we needed something stronger than iced coffee to keep on living.
